2nd All-Star for the Legend that is Orla Finn:
What more can we say about this amazing young lady that hasn’t been said already - Another incredible achievement for our Hero and Club and Cork Legend Orla Finn. A second All-Star at the weekend to add to her many, many, many accolades. This extremely talented player is the very definition of “Inspiration”.
Approx 6/8 weeks ago Orla was at the Bandon Road Pitch leading a coaching session for our Underage Boys & Girls and their coaches. Kinsale GAA are blessed to have such an incredible role model in the club.
Well done Orla – enjoy the well-deserved celebrations.
Check out Facebook, Instagram, Twitter for all the photos and more details.
Season finishes on a high with Last two Fixtures for Underage ending in two great wins (Sunday, 17th November):
Our Boys Under 13 travelled to Passage to take part in their Football Tournament on Sunday last. There they met Ballygarvan in the final. A close match between the teams but Kinsale proved the stronger taking the win on a score line of Kinsale 4-7 Ballygarvan 3-4.
Well done to all the players and their coaches on a great season.
A FANTASTIC END TO SEASON 2019 FOR OUR UNDER 15 BOYS.
On Sunday last our U15s headed to Cobh for their Hurling League Final. A sunny but very cold day ..a good day for hurling, the Cobh Pitch was in pristine condition.
Cobh had the better first half and led at half time 2-2 to 1-3. Kinsale more hungry in the second half played out of their skins and pulled ahead 2-8 to 2-4. Cobh came back and it was a nail-biting last 5 mins. Cobh got a goal well into injury time but Kinsale stood fast to hold on to win by a point. A great display of team work by this fantastic group of friends. Great credit due to all their coaches who put so much time into coaching the lads , always encouraging the team.
This U15 team are now Central P2a Hurling and Football Championship winners and on Sunday added the Hurling League to their fantastic achievements.
3 Big wins in 8 days !!!! not a bad spell at the office!!! :-) :-)
Very well done to all the players on the entire panel and their coaches on an incredible first season up in P2a grade. The future is very bright for this group of talented players.
Later on, on the Sunday evening in Hamlets this Under 15 Team were presented with last years Medals (Season 2018 at Under 14A)….2018 was another fantastic season for this talented team:
Winners medals in grade A were presented for:
West Hurling Championship
West Hurling League

The future of Kinsale Hurling & Football is in safe hands………….
