END OF SEASON FAMILY MORNING - Sunday, 7th October 2018:

Our Annual End of Season Family Morning is coming up soon – as per usual set up the Marquee will be up, filled with goodies, tea/coffee, with Fun Football and Hurling/Camogie Blitz’s for our underage girls and boys.

Set reminders in phones, mark date in diaries – more details to follow very soon.

We are sending out our usual “Calling all Bakers Appeal” and asking everyone to bring along a donation of food - cakes, buns, sandwiches, packet of biscuits, whatever you can - all donations very gratefully excepted and really appreciated. There’ll be tea n coffee on tap 😉. (Food can be left in the Marquee from approx. 10.30am and the Marquee will be open for business from 11.15am approx.)

In keeping with tradition all tea/coffee and goodies are free by way of a small ‘thank you gesture’ to all the parents and the community of Kinsale for their continuous and fantastic support for Kinsale GAA Club.

More details re the order of the morning to follow in the next day or so.

Looking forward to seeing everyone next week – Fingers and Toes crossed for dry weather!!!!

Super Sunday – Two great County Successes for the Club:

On the last day of the month of September 2018 – Kinsale GAA Club enjoyed another Super Sunday with two great successes at County Level. First up our Underage section proving that the future is indeed very bright for the club and in that current bright future our Senior Ladies Football Team continued to lead the way, setting a fantastic example to all our young players and proving that hard work, commitment and dedication pays off!

Senior Ladies Football Team seal a great win in their Senior County B Football Final

Boys Under 14 securing a great win in their County A Hurling Semi-Final and booking their place in the County Final

COUNTY CHAMPIONS ONCE AGAIN!

A fantastic display of great football by our Senior Team gave them the well-deserved County Title in Bishopstown this evening (30/09/18). Outstanding performances all over the pitch with brilliant teamwork gave Kinsale the upper hand V Inch Rovers.

Well done to the entire Senior Panel their Coaches and Mentors.

The ladies must now prepare for another Munster campaign - what an amazing achievement by this great team. They will play Cappawhite of Tipperary in Mallow this Sunday, Oct. 7th at 12.30. Please show your support!

FULL TIME SCORE: Kinsale 2-16 Inch Rovers 0-3

Congratulations and well done again

COUNTY HURLING FINAL AHEAD FOR UNDER 14 BOYS;

Our Under 14 Boys secured a place in the County A Hurling Final having overcome a very good Fermoy side in Mayfield earlier today (30/09/2018).

There wasn’t much between the teams with the half time score reading Kinsale 1-5 to Fermoys 3 points. Fermoy started the better of the two teams in the 2nd half racking up 3/4 unanswered points. Kinsale dug deep and showed great character to hold off a strong purple patch by Fermoy and rallied once again securing the win with a goal and crucial 2/3 points with about 10 mins to go.

Great team performance all round - with every player showing great skills and determination.

Well done to the entire Under 14 panel and to all their coaches and mentors.

FULL TIME SCORE;

Kinsale 2-09 Fermoy 0-11

Congratulations again to all.
