KINSALE GAA CUL CAMP;
And then there was quiet! The pitch stands empty after doing its important job of hosting 230 children all playing football and hurling at Cul Camp 2018 for the past 5 days.
Thank you to our amazing Field Committee who keep our pitches in pristine condition.
2018 Cul Camp was another hugely popular and successful camp again. All the children really enjoyed themselves and even the rain on Wednesday didn’t dampen their fabulous spirits.
A HUGE THANK YOU to all the parents and their fantastic children for signing up for camp this year. We had a fabulous group of kids this year. We really enjoyed camp too and we look forward to seeing all these future stars when they are playing for Cork 👍🏻such is the level of talent in Kinsale.
THANK YOUS:
To all our amazing, fantastic coaches - the club can’t thank you enough for all your time and commitment to cul camp.
Ye are brilliant with all the children and the bond between coaches and the children by the second / third day is so evident to see - great fun had by all. Thank you.
Another truly ‘above and beyond the call of duty group’ is our volunteers for the week and in the weeks prior to camp - Selflessly giving up their time to help out with ordering gear, supervising, traffic, handing out gear, tidying/cleaning up and cooking up over 260 burgers on the BBQ today! Rest assured guys there would NOT BE A CUL CAMP without ye. Legends one and all.
Thank you to Anne in SÁILE for the use of their fantastic facilities - so accommodating, nothing is ever a problem - thanks again.
LITTLE BIT OF HOUSEKEEPING:
(1) Unfortunately the Lost and Found box is full after camp!!! If you are missing gear text me (Emma) and we can arrange about getting it back to you.
(2) We also have some cul camp gear that hasn’t been collected. I’ll go through the list over the next few days and contact people not ticked off as having received their gear so don’t worry we will get it to you!!
(3) We sent home Flyers today with the children advertising our Club Development Draw. This is a vital fundraiser for the club to try and raise as much funds as we can to improve our facilities which will be a huge benefit not only to all players but to the community of Kinsale. Tickets are €100 but there a few different options to pay. A) pay outright; B) Direct Debit per month; C) Pay on line; D) share the ticket between 2 or 4 people.
Sincere thanks in advance for all your support.
And that’s it I think!! Till next year again 😄😄
Booking for Cul Camp 2019 opens in mid-March next year !..... just saying!😉😉😁😁
One last final big huge thank you to everyone for making Cul Camp 2018 another very special event for Kinsale Gaa Club.
FROM EVERYONE AT KINSALE GAA
