Cork Senior Ladies:
The Cork Ladies take on Kerry in the Munster final on Saturday in CIT at 2pm. U16s are free and adults cost €10. We are very lucky to have Orla Finn on the team so it would be a great opportunity for all our Underage players to see the Cork Senior Team in action. Hopefully we’ll see some of you there. Corcaigh Abu!
Mens Intermediate, Junior A Hurling, Junior B Football – all Top of their respective League Tables:
So far it’s been a great season for Mens GAA in Kinsale with all 3 Adult teams holding the Top position in their league divisions. This is testament to all the hard work put in over the winter during pre-season training and the fantastic commitment to training by all the players continuing on into the height of the GAA Season.
Well done to the Intermediates who beat Ballydesmond in the League recently 2-13 to 1-9! now top of the Division 4 League table!
The Junior Hurlers are also top of the Carrigdhoun League Table after what has been a very successful league campaign!
Our Junior B Footballers are also flying high at the top of their League also with some impressive wins recently in the bag – tonight saw them secure another great win with a one point victory over Carrigaline
(FT 2-11 to 2-10).
Well done to all the players and mentors for all their time and effort.
We look forward to the Football Championship V Ballinora and the Hurling Championship V Valleys over the next few weeks!

Well Done to West Cork and our Kinsale GAA Players on the team:
West Cork emerged winners in the Quarter Final of the Celtic Hurling League Challenge recently. They beat Cork City on a score line of 2-18 to 1-17 to progress to the Semi Final stages of this competition. Special Congratulations to John O Brien and Kealan O Rourke both of whom played on the day, keeping the Kinsale flag flying on the West Cork Team.

Juvenile Basketball Club Update
There is a huge interest in starting juvenile basketball coaching. This can’t happen without parental support! Let’s make it happen!! Some parents have expressed an interest in getting involved with the coaching and supervision of the sessions. If you are available for the coaching course, can you please let me know asap?
If you would like to help out in any way going forward, please get in touch, we would love to hear from you! Help is needed on the committee and with administration, organising events, pr, washing the kit etc…many hands make light work, even occasional help is welcomed and appreciatedJ

Introduction to Basketball coaching courseis on 25th August in Parochial Hall in Gurranabraher. Time and booking info tbc.

Cork Basketball and Cork Sports are looking at the option of running a introduction course in Bandon and a Safeguarding course in Kinsale. I’ll update when I have more information or confirmation on these courses. It will more than likely be August & September.
