Congrats to Kinsale Ladies who are County U21 A Champions after a very exciting final in Cloughduv tonight!

This was a very close contest with teams drawing level on several occasions but Kinsale went in ahead at half time 1-7 to 0-5 with the goal coming from Jenny Murphy!

Within 3 minutes of the resumption of the second half, 3 goals were scored!! Two for Éire Óg which put them in the lead! Kinsale weren’t going to give up and Ellen Murphy hit back with a goal of her own and Kinsale led again 2-7 to 2-5. Faye and Georgia added two more points but a goal for Eire Og with 8 minutes to go drew the sides level again! 

With time nearly up, a replay beckoned but a penalty was awarded to Kinsale which Sadhbh converted and Kinsale emerged victorious 3-9 to 3-6!

Huge congrats to this group of girls and their mentors! What an achievement 👏🏻👏🏻⚪️🔵🔷🏆
