ATTENTION ALL COACHES & PARENTS – IMPORTANT COACHING COURSE IN HURLING/CAMOGIE COMING UP WHICH WILL BE OF HUGE BENEFIT TO ALL:
Details now confirmed for this course:
Part 1 of course:
DATE & TIME: Saturday afternoon, 7th April at 4.30pm
VENUE: Sáile
Part 2 of course:
DATE & TIME: Sunday morning, 8th April at 10.00am
VENUE: Hurling Wall at Bandon Road Pitch
These two courses will be given by Mr Paudie Butler (Former National Director of Hurling) who has very kindly agreed to come down to Kinsale GAA and hold these hurling workshops over the weekend for the club. These workshops will be interactive so runners and comfortable clothing is advisable. If you have a hurley please bring it along.
It is very important and highly recommended that all coaches already involved with the club, especially those training Boys Hurling and Girls Camogie from ages Under 6 to Under 16 attend these workshops. Both courses are also open to any parents that have any interest in coaching, learning more about Hurling/Camogie or getting involved with the club – its always great to see some new faces at these courses – so please we would encourage any parents with an interest in hurling/camogie to come along. No previous experience is necessary.
Paudie has a wealth of knowledge and experience in GAA and is gladly giving up his weekend to travel down from Tipperary to impart his knowledge/experience free of charge. So please, if everyone could make a special effort to come along to the sessions and lets give Paudie a big Kinsale welcome and showcase our club, our coaches in the very best light possible.
Looking forward to seeing you all Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning. If you have any queries in the meantime please contact me on 086-8104800.
Thank you.
Sean O Callaghan.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Please support Sáile’s fundraising appeal – this is a fantastic facility which Kinsale GAA use regularly - see information below
We are holding our annual Golf Classic at the Old Head Golf Links Monday 16th April 2018. Now in its 10th Year the event continues to be a key fundraising day for the Sports and Community Centre in Kinsale. We have come a long way over the last 10 years with the progress of the Centre, which has now seen the completion of a Floodlit All Weather Facility which opened in 2010 and a full size Sports Hall and Changing Rooms in 2015. Over 2000 weekly users across all age groups, sports and recreational clubs are benefitting from the facility.
We are delighted that the new Sports & Community Centre Hall is now up and running and is proving to be of great benefit to the community and we are on a final fundraising push to complete the fit out of our two community rooms upstairs in our centre. Our Golf Classic event in the Old Head plays a vital role in achieving this.
We wondered if you would kindly agree to support us this year by sponsoring a tee box for €50. We will be advertising all tee box sponsors in the Old Head on the day along with in the local media following the event.
Your continued support for this community project is greatly appreciated.
