New Junior Ladies Football Team:
On Sunday in Dunderrow at high noon another brand new team takes to the field of play proudly donning the Kinsale colours. Our new Junior Ladies Football team have played one or two challenge games already but this is their first official league game as a team. With our new Junior Ladies Camogie Team making their entrance last year – its fantastic to see yet another Ladies team (a new full panel incl subs!) playing in the Kinsale Colours. What an example all the women in our two Ladies/Girls Clubs are to our younger player coming up - its absolutely fantastic to see the surge in interest in Womens Sport – long may it continue.
It would be great to see a big crowd out in Dunderrow on Sunday to cheers our new Junior Team onto the pitch and give them all the support they so truly deserve. Best of luck ladies.

Kinsale GAA Club is delighted to announce that our New On-Line Registration System is now live and ready to take your Club Registration/Membership. Please click on the above and follow the very easy step by step procedure to be registered with Kinsale GAA Club.
With matches already started for some older teams and with Underage matches beginning very soon – its very important that all players are registered before they participate in Matches. Unregistered players are NOT covered by club insurance if they are involved in an incident.
This new system should hugely improve and speed up our Registration process – no more waiting ‘to try and see someone to pay’ – just simply click the link, follow the steps and registration will be complete in less then 6/7 mins from the comfort of your home!!
Please register asap to be kept up to date with all club communications.

Our Theme this year is “We’ve rocked the Stage with KinSync - Now lets rock the Pitch”

Camogie – 3 years on…………:
Our newest club in the Kinsale GAA Family is heading into its 4th Season. It’s hard to believe that 3 full seasons have passed since that first meeting in the Temperance Hall to see if there was an interest in Camogie in Kinsale. The camogie club has thrived, increasing in numbers from 90 approx registered underage girls to just over 150 underage and approx. 35 Junior Ladies in 2017. With this huge increase in numbers the club urgently needs new Coaches/Helpers to come on board so that we can maintain the high standard of coaching and organisation currently enjoyed by all the girls.
The club would love to see some new faces getting involved to lend a helping hand and also bringing new ideas and suggestions. At the moment we have a very enthusiastic and dedicated Coaching Team who just need a little bit of help. Coaching/Helping could be ‘bibbing up’ 20 U6 year olds for a training match or maybe helping to lay out the cones for games and collecting them up afterwards. Or perhaps having an adult on hand for toilet breaks or throwing the sliotar to the players so they can strike it !! Basic Skills coaching courses will be available to everyone.
- The more small jobs that we can divide out the more time can be given to coaching camogie skills to the players -
There will be a meeting of all current, new and prospective coaches/helpers next Tuesday, 20th March in the Top Section of Aperitif in the Blue Haven Hotel at 7.45pm. This meeting will only last approximately 45 mins. So please if you do have some time to spare……a lot or a little, the club would be extremely grateful for any help. The more people we have the less work for everyone.
Pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee……………………… come along on Tuesday night to find out how you can help out. All our age groups have experienced camogie coaches already – so people will not be expected to take over a group etc etc …………these groups just need more helpers!!!
Thank you everyone – hope to see you at this meeting next Tuesday.
Victory Celebration Night:
Friday, 23rd March, at 7.30pm, Blue Haven -Ticket Price €20per person.
Limited tickets are available in Blue Haven (at reception). Last chance to buy tickets Wednesday evening, 21st March.
As the original date had to be cancelled due to the Snow, the tickets will still have the 2nd March date on them but will be valid for the 23rd
(we’ll save a few trees and a few bob for the club by not re-printing new ones :-) !!!)
We hope the new date will suit everyone (fingers crossed) – however, a full refund on tickets will be given to anyone who has already purchased tickets but cannot now attend on the 23rd.
Many thanks for all your support and patience - we look forward to seeing you on the 23rd March for a great night – honouring 2 great teams.
