KinSync 2018 – Will you be there!!!

We are looking forward to the Club’s fundraiser, KinSync in February 2018!! The countdown is on with 4 weeks to go. Our Fantastic Acts have been practising away for the last few weeks and are looking forward to ‘getting up on stage” and showing off in front of their friends and family :-) :-) :-).

It’ll be a night to remember and you really don’t want to miss it – lots of familiar faces taking part to help Kinsale GAA raise a few bob towards our Club Development Fund. The club is so thankful to everyone for giving up their time to help the club out – amazing support.

The event will take place in Actons Hotel on Friday 2nd and Saturday 3rd February – (so book those babysitters now :-)!!!)

Tickets will go on sale on Friday, 12th January at 9am!!

Don’t be disappointed - Pencil Friday, 12th January into your calendars, set alarms and reminders in phones. Remember our Strictly event was sold out in under 2 hours on the day those tickets were released!!!!

We will have an official KinSync launch night on Thursday, 11th January in the Blue Haven/Hamlets – more details to follow!

As with any big fundraising event keeping costs and expenses to a minimum is crucial – the objective is for all monies raised to go directly to our Club Development Fund. If you would like to become a KinSync Sponsor and help Kinsale GAA to raise as much funding as possible please contact Catherine or Emma. All sponsors will be advertised continuously during the KinSync event, as well as being included on all club communications being sent out.
Please feel free to pass this email to places of work, friends, family members, other businesses that you think may be interested in helping out our club – we would be truly grateful for all the financial assistance received – taking the monetary strain off the clubs finances to run an event like this is key.

Annual Tom Quigley Memorial Puc Fada Tournament:

What a great day to kick off 2018 at our New Years Day Puc Fada! The Sun was out, with a few showers making their presence felt, but mostly a bright sunny morning and early afternoon – great hurling skills on display.

Thanks to the 26 teams who took part and raised nearly €800 for Marymount and the Men’s Shed! Sincere thanks to everyone – a fantastic amount of money raised.

Congrats to the winners with some phenomenal scores;

Overall winners with 32 pucks: Timmy Broderick, Mark Eaton and Kenneth O Callaghan.
Minor Team with 37 pucks: Conor McCarthy, John O Brien and Darragh Crowley.
Family with 39 pucks: Seán, Kris and Kian O Callaghan.

Well done to all the teams who took part, with special thanks to the Quigleys and all the stewards for making the event such a success ! 🔵⚪️💙


More Well-Deserved Honours for our Ladies Senior Football Team:
Huge congratulations to the Ladies Football Team on being selected as the @CelticRossHotel West Cork Team of the Year.
This is a huge honour for the Team and for the Club!
The presentation will take place at the 20th Annual Function on Saturday January 20th.
Tickets cost €40 and can be bought directly from the Celtic Ross Hotel. This is a black tie event and Kevin Kilbane will be the special guest on the night!
It would be great to see a Kinsale contingent in Rosscarbery on the night to support the Ladies!
