Still looking for more Help on Saturday……..if you can volunteer please be at the pitch for 9am:
The old perimeter fencing around the pitch is actually now all down – but we need loads of help now to clean down and paint all the posts around the pitch before the new Fence goes up.

Cleaning and Painting all the posts will be a big job for a few people to get it done before the new fence goes up on Monday. But if we have a big gang of helpers the job should be done and dusted by lunch time on Saturday! Please text Noel O Sullivan (087-8257599) or Emma O Callaghan (086-3926527) if you can help out. Thank you.

REMINDER - Coffee Morning Fundraiser in aid of the Intermediate Teams Trip to Dublin:
A fantastic win for our Intermediate Ladies Football team at the weekend - now through to another All Ireland Final.
The club are holding a Coffee Morning Fundraiser this coming Saturday, 25th November from 9.30am to 1pm in the Temperance Hall to Help raise some money to alleviate the very high costs that will be incurred in sending the Intermediate Team to Dublin for the All Ireland Final. (Buses, Accommodation etc).
If you are around town on Saturday, it could be a bit cold, so pop in for a lovely hot cuppa and a treat or 2.
WE ARE ALSO LOOKING FOR DONATIONS OF BAKING if anyone fancies making a few buns for us. Baking can be handed in from 9.30am on Saturday morning.

Members of the team will be there – so come on in for a chat and a photo!!

Thank you so much. And look forward to seeing you there.

Supporters Bus to All-Ireland Final:
The Supporters Bus to the Intermediate Ladies All Ireland Final is now full (50 seater).

The club will organise a second bus if there is enough interest (depending on confirmed numbers for a second bus will determine what size bus we need and the price per person!)

If interested in travelling on a second supporters bus to Dublin – please contact Laurence Murphy as soon as possible on 087-9056737.

Thank you!

26th November - Super Sunday!

Minors Under 18
What an incredible season this team are having – Double Champions in the East Divisional B2 having won both the Hurling and Football titles. County Champions in Hurling and now through to the County Semi-Final in Football. Is a County Double also on the cards…………fingers and toes crossed!!!

Plus a League Final still to be played having beaten Carrignavarr in the Semi-Final recently!

Please show your support for this great team on Sunday and help them progress over Doneraile to the County Final. Plenty of encouragement is needed – no doubt Doneraile will be out for payback after Kinsale beat them well in the Hurling County Final in October. Let’s be there to drive the team on to another victory.
Go Kinsale!!!

Our Under 13 squad topped their league in both Hurling and Football winning all their games in both codes ….an outstanding achievement.

Next Sunday (26th November) they play their East Cup Hurling (A ) League Final V St. Catherine’s having beaten a well fancied Ballinhassig side in the Semi-Final by 2 points. It’s great to have a home draw for this final so please come along to the pitch on Sunday and show your support for this hard working team and their mentors…. It takes great commitment and dedication to still be training this late in the season at Under 13.

It would be great to see their Under 14 team mates at the pitch to lend their support too – if they are around.

Plenty of encouragement on the side-lines will really boost the lads confidence and help them to push to claim this big win on Sunday to finish off their season on a high!

Ladies Football & Camogie Joint AGM

Friday, 8th December, Charlesfort Suite, Actons Hotel, 8.00pm

Please come along to our AGM and find out what’s happening in our Club and the plans for the future.

We are urging people to please come along if they can (if one person per family could come that would be great) – we are urgently now looking for more volunteers and helpers across all sections of both clubs, from coaching, to admin, to helping out at the café, stewarding/traffic control during training sessions and matches. We really have reached that point now where there are too many responsibilities for the number of people involved – so help is urgently needed so that we can share the work!
Ø Admin could be a job as easy as looking after sending out the text/WhatsApp messages for a certain age group confirming training or match details!
Ø Being involved in coaching might involve helping to bib up 25/30 U6 year olds before they start training!!
There are loads of ways a small contribution of your time could really really help.
