Another Busy Day at the Office!

Saturday, 14th October will be another busy GAA day with a double header in store. So, once again if you were wondering what to do with your Saturday, Kinsale GAA have it all sorted with a Football and
Hurling Game lined up :-)!

Beginning with our Under 14 Boys at 2pm in Belgooly (returning to the scene of their hard fought Final last week which ended all square). This Football Final Replay should be equally as intense and entertaining as the final last Saturday, with Extra Time to be played if its once again its all even at the full time whistle.

Please come along on Saturday and support our young players – plenty of encouragement on the side-lines is huge and will mean so much to the team. Sure isn’t Belgooly only ‘a hop, skip and a jump’ from Kinsale. This game would be great experience for our younger players to watch – especially those who will be playing Championship next year. Having reached this East B1 Final our Boys Under 14 automatically proceed into a County Quarter Final – so more games on the horizon for this busy bunch.

After the Under 14 Match is finished you can continue on up the Cork Road, grab a coffee and sambo on route – and be in Ovens in plenty of time to see our Minor Boys take on St Marks in this very important game for them. This County Semi-Final gets underway at 4.30pm in Ovens –Pitch 2. To be still training and competing at this level in October is testament to the hard work and commitment by everyone involved on this team. A County Final beckons and the lads need your support …………get along to Ovens on Saturday evening for what will no doubt be a fantastic and skilful game of hurling … you won’t be disappointed.

The Minor Ladies are up next in the County 1/4 final. After a defeat to Skib in the West Cork final, they will now take on Aghada in Rostellan, Aghada's home pitch on Sunday at 2pm!

Our busy Minor Under 18s are out again on Monday night (16th October), this time in Football competing to win their East B2 Championship Final. They take on local rivals Courceys at 8.15pm in Ballygarvan. No doubt this will be a fast paced and entertaining game – one not to be missed. Ballygarvan is the place to be on Monday night.

Three great matches lined up - Don’t forget to wear your Club Colours – bring flags n banners – Come on Kinsale. All the details below:

Don’t forget to keep free the Weekend of October 21st and 22nd - Munster Club Intermediate Ladies Football Championship Final – Support in huge numbers will be required for this Munster Final so get ready to make the trip to wherever it will be:-)!

After their big win in Mallow last Saturday, Kinsale must now await the outcome of Tipperary V Limerick to see who their opposition will be. As soon as all the information is confirmed we will send it out.
